Loads of female celebs known at least in part for there looks do it or at least close to it (thong etc). Britney may have other problems but it’s hardly like she’s the only celebrity going nude or skimpy on social media.

I love Britney but her behaviour is very far from how other celebs take nudes, the swaying and grinning is strange.

I just scrolled quickly through Kim's insta and I don't see a single naked photo in the past couple of years so I can't see where she has posted the same type of nude as Britney repeatedly? I don't see a single video of her swaying and grinning at the camera either? Where is Kim K posting these?

Exactly this. She is coming across as deeply unwell, the constant nudes, with days old makeup and dead eyes are not helping, I really hope someone is taking care of her.

Britney has been exploited since she was a child and was kept confined in a conservatorship for 13 years, of course she's not quite well, it would be weird if she was.

She's trying to figure things out, she missed out on a lot when it comes to social media and it's possible all the nudes are targeted at her family and the conservatorship team that controlled her, but posing for sexy pictures has always been part of what she did. Her comeback song after being placed in the conservatorship was Womanizer and it has multiple scenes of her naked in a sauna in the video.

People are allowed to be mentally ill or just a bit weird without having their autonomy taken away. It's really concerning that people think her father had the right idea just because she's got some mental health issues and didn't magically instantly overcome her trauma once she was released from the conservatorship.

People don't know anything about her mental health including you. You have a very high opinion of your capabilities/importance if you think you can diagnose someone's mental health based on a few photos/videos or "enable" her. Leave that the psychiatrists and the people who do know her. She's clearly reacting to being free to do what she wants and is angry about being controlled both personally and financially for many years but who wouldn't be? That doesn't mean she is ill.

I dont think anyone is saying that(maybe a few people but certainly not most), they are just saying that she is clearly ill and people cheering on a clearly ill person to get naked on a massive platform doesn't sit right with lots of people.

Free Britney movement tried to claim there's nothing wrong with her, but I can tell from her face and actions/words that she's severely mentally ill. I have bipolar and that's what she has, hence the out of character head shaving and umbrella incidents.

I'm not sure that she has been diagnosed with bipolar. It appears she doesn't take lithium for example. Anyway, I don't think most people in the "free Britney" movement claimed there was "nothing wrong". The main point was that if she is well enough to earn millions she is well enough to handle her own affairs. People with bipolar don't have all their autonomy (personal as well as financial) taken away from them while being forced to work. How would you feel if someone did that to you because you have bipolar and then even took
the money you earned to pay themselves? That's what happened to her.

What annoys me about her the most lately is it's obvious how utterly self-absorbed she is. And yes, that may be due to a mental illness or it may just be who she is as a person anyway.

Literally her whole Instagram feed is all her, her, her. She has such a big platform, with all the atrocities going on in the world, like the situation in Ukraine and the fundraising going on by various celebs, but no, Britney's just droning on about herself and her body....again. It's so utterly uninteresting.

And FWIW, i'm not a 'worthy, do goody' person, I follow loads of reality stars and so called 'trashy celebs' so it's not like I'm some Greta Thunberg wannabee thinking everyone has to be doing good all the time or anything, but there just isn't ANYTHING on her feed that isn't all about her.

It's a bit weird you're claiming Kim K hasn't posted nudes on insta, I remember one in particular taken in her bathroom with a black bar censoring her nipples. She doesn't have to be posting in exactly the same way as Brit either for my point to remain valid. You don't like it when she's not getting paid for her nude photos but it's ok if it's in a magazine. Got it.

Btw mental illness isn't a case of you've either got it or you don't by the way. It fluctuates, relapses etc. So she could well have fluctuating levels of wellness but it doesn't mean she shouldn't be allowed to control her life when she's not harming herself or others.

I'm 50/50 on the nudes. It is odd, but then who am I to judge? I'd love to have that figure.

But. Have a look at her recent post with the pizza photo today. The caption. It is rambling and pretty incoherent. I can't make head nor tail of it.

Regardless, the conservatorship was clearly abusive and whatever mental illness she has or hadn't got doesn't mean she needs or should have to comply with that! I mean, she may well be mentally ill. Lots of people are and they don't have their autonomy and freedom stripped. But I do think someone who cares about her (not her money, her) should be looking out for her. Her posts aren't that of a stable woman, IMO.

That's a fair point about the pizza post and so many others on a similar theme of going off on a tangent, almost appearing to maybe try to be making a metaphor but not quite nailing it and coming across as you say quote coherent.

I absolutely would not want to see her entrapped like she was with her dad.

There is probably no one else on this earth that has gone through what she has gone through in her life with the number of pipes watching everything unfold. She has my absolute sympathy and I wish her all the wellness for her future.

The naked photos though are not normal in the context of who she is and what she has been through.

She is a vulnerable person and needs someone to look out for her.

I think it’s because she’s unwell mentally. She has the look of madness too. My uncle always used to strip naked when he was going through a psychotic episode. I don’t believe for one minute she is of sound mind.

I'm saying there are none in the past 2 years-ish. I don't follow her on Instagram and don't pay any heed to news about her so like I said in my post that was a quick scroll on insta that revealed none. It didn't reveal repeatative posts of the same nudes like you claimed and it didn't reveal any swaying/grinning photos either like you claimed it would either. It's not about being paid, you are being obtuse and failing to see the entire picture. You are comparing people that may post occasional, professionally shot photos with someone that posts full frontal awful quality(ie nothing at all artistic about them) nudes over and over again and also posts bizarre swaying/grinning videos accompanied by ramblings.

Nobody is saying she shouldn't have control of her life but I don't feel that people should be all 'you go girl' encouraging an ill person to post nudes to millions of people. I would hate if 1000s upon 1000s of people were egging on my mentally ill mother/sister/daughter into posting nudes to a small platform never mind to millions of people. If this was your mentally ill mother posting as Britney does you'd really be saying well Kim K does it occasionally so 🤷

Totally agree. I have members of my family with severe and enduring mental illness and they are incredibly vulnerable on social media during periods when they are very unwell with psychosis. They have their autonomy of course but they need safeguarding also, it’s a balanced approach isn’t it?

I think it's quite sad to see her posing in the same way that she did when she was 16. It's like she's never really matured.... but she's now in her 40s.

She reminds me of Michael Jackson - someone who was never really able to grow up. And deeply fragile.

She is a 40 year old woman who comes across as a 15 year old. Mentally she probably still is, she was completely and utterly controlled by the adults around her from childhood, it's so fucked up.

The nudes now are probably a way of her taking back control of her body, posting pictures the way she wants to and a fuck you to everyone. But clearly it's not the way to go about it. The fact she posts the same picture just with different filters over and over is weird as well.

I wonder how her parents feel about it all now? If completely fucking up their daughters life was worth it? If putting their 16 year old daughter up for global interviews where disgusting men asked her if she was a virgin was worth it?
