To think that if the local council say the bins will be picked up and emptied tomorrow then they should stick to it?

I moaned over Christmas that some of my neighbours hadn't read the letter stating that bins would be emptied on the Monday after the usual friday collection - for the festive period. So instead of being emptied on the 21st, it was emptied Christmas Eve, and then instead of teh 28th it was emptied on teh 31st. Then todays collection was supposed to be tomorrow. So guess what woke me up at 6.30 this morning? the binmen, I had to pull on some clothes and run out and put the bin out

Ours gets collected every fortnight so if I miss it, its a real pain...luckily putting the rubbish out is one of dp's duties so I get to blame him!!
