Just thought I would start a follow on thread for anyone interested in the trial. I have kept it in AIBU so that it is easier for previous posters from Part 1 to find.
We are halfway through and have heard JD's testimony so next week we will hear from AH.

I reckon they will appeal because of this witness. I don’t know why she doesn’t ditch the bloody notes.

I think the witness might be on her last chance.

Oh heck I can't wait to see this.

I feel like the judge is quite fair and overrules the objections from both sides a lot

She’s not helping at all. She needs to give up the notes and say she doesn’t recall in detail. She keeps looking at them and putting her glasses on.

I hope so.

My son had ptsd. I’m interested in whether they’ve done anything to treat it. Because otherwise what? She is just living with this? It was impacting his life

I don’t - this needs to be resolved and if they discount her there will be an appeal

Be interested to know how much this witness was paid for her expert evidence.

I think they’ll just try and drag this out and start afresh tomorrow.

I feel like this witness is not very impartial or pretending to be

this could back fire, it feels like the line has been crossed into a therapist.

I'm watching it on Court TV on sky. I think it's on YouTube though - Law and Crime channel.

I don't like how she's painting AH out to be the innocent victim.

She just said there isn't any evidence of her behaving like this outside of the relationship with JD regards BPD. What about AH former arrest for DV against ex wife?

Honestly though, the grinning and smirking is really inappropriate after that. Either horror you’ve been accused or sadness your ex is doing this, but the smirking is weird.
id like this witness to stop now. I don’t feel it’s helpful.

So many of JD's witnesses had been prepared to say the minimum and only answering the question and not expand. This witness if just going on and on and rarely mentions...Amber states or Amber reported. She gets quite emotional and dramatic in her testimony
