to ask Christians about dinosaurs...

This is a serious question - so I have been thinking a lot lately about whether God exists, the meaning of life and why is the world in such a terrible state... been thinking about going to church but still feel I am on the fence. One question which has really got me thinking (after watching dear old David Attenborough... ) is where do dinosaurs fit into all this. Sorry if this sounds very weird but I would love to hear an explanation!

Actually so far I have discovered God has no hands, but can create the universe and all things within it. God created dinosaurs but as @CurlyBurley Has asked and you all refuse to answer "I just don't get how they fit into the story. We are here, supposedly, to follow God and be saved. What were dinosaurs here for?"

But yet god cannot create or write his own books? and some Christians are pretty dam rude, not very christen like at all 😊

Wow people get touchy when they cant answer either mine or other posters questions. It seems that if your not willing to believe what I'm told with no factual basis I need to be insulted.

What made you say it can be dated? Why did you make that point? I'm just wondering how that helps and what that proves.

I'm not a practising Christian either but I find biblical scholarship around the writing of all the parts of the Bible very interesting and worth a Google shabbaboot.

@shabbaboot I realise that you're just trying to wind people up, but you're being kind of rude yourself. As I said before, if you have faith then the Bible is real and meaningful and if you don't then it's not. It's fine not to believe, that doesn't mean that those who do are ridiculous or childish.

This would be a much better thread if we all discussed our favourite dinosaurs.

Getting back to the conversation, I’d love to know if people really believe in a man in the sky. I see the appeal of believing in an omnipotent kind of force, like a thread running through every aspect of life that means people regenerate when they die into more living things. But I can’t see how it could be a man just floating about in clouds, waiting.
