What's your favorite weird meal?

Cold baked beans with mayonnaise - must be eaten straight from the tin.

DH made a sandwich out of leftover greek salad the other day. I couldn’t decide if it was genius or if he was a wrong un.

@Benjispruce4 God, I grew up on cans of Glenryck pilchards and various 'creative' ways to use them... solidarity 💪

Mine would be sardines, mashed with a massive pile of parsley, some parmesan and chili powder and extra salt on toast.
Or just salt on buttered toast.

Scrambled eggs with lap cheong.

I never put salt in rice with a chilli. I like the plain contrast to a spicy chilli.

Apparently pizza and chips is weird but it's my comfort food especially if it's cheap pizza. Pot noodle butties are amazing too. As are wotsit sandwiches. Lasagne and chips. Double carbs are heaven. I want pizza and chips for dinner now.

baby potatoes with pesto on top, a southern fried chicken fillet and garlic bread. That's all one meal and it's sooooo yummy

Grilled slices of spam on top of ramen noodles. Absolutely food of the Odd Gods.

Just remembered another speciality of mine. Cream cheese(Philly) and fresh coriander sandwich. Plenty of salt.😋

Cold Marrowfat peas with Paul Newman vinegrette.

Also, mashed potato and gravy sandwiches.

Greek salad pitta pockets are a staple here. With houmous to line the pitta.

DS loves mash, cheese and boiled egg in a wrap 😬 also likes to swap out the mash for chips. Not sure a chip tortilla is a Mexican staple 😂

New potatoes drowned in gravy and mint sauce - my go to comfort food.

Tinned corned beef with rice or pasta or noodles. It used to be my struggle meal but I am not even ashamed that I'll still make it for myself when I can't be bothered to make anything proper.

Cold brown rice with chopped up beetroot & kidney beans In Chilli sauce with a little bit of salad cream to mix it all together.

When i was in my teens a bf introduced me to fried baked beans! Sounded horrible but were amazing!

Cheese and jam butty ! Love it

Especially a nice apple and strawberry jam and a medium cheddar ... hmmmmm

Mine has to be a “Loaded Toastie”. I don’t think it’s that weird but it’s raised a few eyebrows in the past. Also, I find that as I get older it’s the only thing that comes close to curing my hangovers as well.

It consists of white bread (rarely eat white bread but I keep a small loaf in the freezer for the emergency Loaded Toastie), Super Noodles (any flavour), an obscene amount of extra mature cheddar cheese, grated mozzarella, spring onion,
red onion, cucumber, and pepperoni slices (or Chorizo if I’m feeling fancy). I usually dip it in some Chilli & Garlic Mayo.
If I’m particularly ravenous, I’ll have a side of cheesy curly fries with it as well.

Dry noodles eaten with the seasonings still love it now
