Mauve!!! The very word makes me shudder. It sounds like nails down a blackboard to me.

Twee words like "squeeeeee" "hubby/hubster" "holibobs" "Chrimbo" annoy me, but the word mauve really elicits a visceral reaction in me

Brilliant! I was just thinking that it was interesting and possibly quite telling that many of the words people don't like relate to female anatomy - so it's ironic that my word comes back to that too 🙈.
