And the details of his life and e.g. speech delay not broadcast to his mothers 4.4 million followers (and whoever else wants to see as it's an open page)

Imagine having your life broadcast like that in such detail with no consent or consideration of his future Sad

Fuckedoffisanunderstatement it's a very heavy price to pay to have your parents at home. My child's privacy is 100% his and he's had a lovely balance of us being at home and working, very normal working class family. If we've managed it then I'm sure they could too. As a PP said she made her money before having kids anyway so really there's no need to exploit then at all.

@elephantmarchingin

But what is she gaining by speaking about his delay? She's not pushing products, she's not getting money from it. All she's doing is helping other parents who are also in the same position.
She's getting clicks. Clicks and likes and engagement = sponsorship.

That's how influencing works. Her - and pretty much every influencer's - business is selling their life and their family. They are exploiting their children for financial gain.

Clymene · 19/04/2022 23:05

And everyone of you who follow is contributing to the children's exploitation. Sitting there and pursing your lips because you know what school they go to and what their favourite colour is? You're also exploiting that child.

You are literally part of the pay-per-view. Don't tell me you're appalled while avidly following their every move. If you really cared, you'd unfollow. That's the only way this is going to stop. Cut off the oxygen.

All the parents on this thread saying ‘well I find her stories with him comforting as my child has a speech delay etc’ - her child shouldn’t have to pay the price with his privacy for your comfort and reassurance. I understand that it’s hard and scary but she could discuss it without exploiting him abs sharing his medical info (working with charities, general information sharing and raising awareness).
