I know this is done to death.
I’m not asking for people to give me money or anything.
But who has made money online quickly before?

I’ve 3 children. I work FT but the energy crisis is scaring me.
I have £19 to last me seven days. Food, gas, electric, everything.
I’m so stressed out.
I know people use sites for surveys ect. Any that pay out quickly?
What do people recommend?

Only fans not an option, I don’t have the body!

Lex345 · 15/04/2022 22:33

Swagbucks is really good would recommend highly-try and get a friend to refer you as they will get a little bonus as well :)

Rainbowqueeen · 15/04/2022 22:34

I'd join olio to get free food rather than doing surveys. I'm on multiple survey sites, but you need to accrue at least £20 on most to cash out-which can takes weeks or longer of surveys!

SillySallySassySausage · 15/04/2022 22:39

This thread is a good one to follow.

Haveatakeaway · 15/04/2022 22:39

Sell things at low prices on Facebook. If you have any outgrown clothes, sell them low. I got a next coat for £3 for my son, asked why she prices it so low and she said that's what people will pay.
Can they cut off your electric if you have children?
I tried surveys but it's not instant money.
Are you wfh? If so could your employers help with electric?

Definitely try matched betting. It's really easy once you get the hang of it (which doesn't take long). Team Profit is a good site to get you started.

I've never heard of that although it does sound like gambling which isn't the best road for someone with financial difficulties to go down?

Try downloading the app AttaPoll.
it's doing surveys. I downloaded it Tuesday night and already got 12 pound. I spend about an hour a day on and off doing them. Very easy to do whilst your watching Tv ect

purple099 · 15/04/2022 22:50

I feel you there.
This was exactly where I was two months ago - £20 to last 10 days!
None of the below helped with the actual month itself, but from then I've found these help.

I'm finding selling clothes on Vinted helps a lot - made £30 in last week, but it can take a few days for shipping etc.

I find Attapoll quite good, lots of survey options and can make a few £ quickly. It's a £3 limit to withdraw to paypal. My code is bnbkw attapoll.app/join/bnbkw

I also use Appino and I've made £5 in a month of just answering polls.
£10 minimum to cash out. appinio.page.link/vjtE

I also use Monzo to transfer over 'food' money from my main account to the monzo account - it then means that I can allocate the £x amount per week more easily, and with rounding up each purchase I find an extra quid at the end of each week.
There's a £5 referal if you want it for that account too - just dm me.

Does your local area have a community larder? ours doesn't have any income limits and I've filled my fridge on occasion from their stuff.

XelaM · 15/04/2022 22:52

@Nelliephant1 Match betting is not gambling. You can't lose. That's the whole point

LizzieVereker · 15/04/2022 23:37

It doesn’t make money but the the Too Good to Go app might save you some money in food.

Selling old games/DVDs to CEX. Selling gold to a jeweller or pawn broker.
Selling clothes to a “by weight” buyer is quick but you don’t make much - Vinted is great but takes a few days.

I do sympathise, I’ve been there.

Juliecloud · 15/04/2022 23:40

I use prolific to do surveys. It pays out when you get to £5.

Fiveletters · 15/04/2022 23:41

Market research? I get 4-5 requests a day that can be £50-70 for an hour/90 min zoom call

Access to "stuff" is easier to get than access to "money".

As has already been mentioned, food banks and Olio will help with the food situation.

Are the energy bills due in the next seven days? What do you actually have to pay for in the next seven days other than food?

Is this is a temporary situation caused by an unexpected bill, or is this going to be the same at the end of each month? If this isn't a one-off, would it be possible to talk to some of the people you need to pay to arrange a payment plan?

Bbub · 15/04/2022 23:47

You need to spend money to make money in matched betting so I don't think it's right for the OP in this case. It is risk free if followed to the letter - mistakes can cost though.

goingback · 16/04/2022 00:21

know someone who does non-nude on OF ,and another who does foot fetish as a size 20 , not promoting but your body is not the only source of income on OF. Don't want to join the others saying sell stuff, once it is gone it is GONE- you can only sell it once

Kanaloa · 16/04/2022 00:38

Realistically if there was a way to make decent money quickly with little work everyone would do it. Agree a food bank referral is a decent idea. I would also look at cancelling all extras if you’re struggling for money this badly - subscriptions to TV services, music streaming etc would be a start. Also look at budgeting for next month.

If you need money desperately I would sell an item that’s not needed at the moment if you can. Or if possible ask family for a small loan although I’m aware this isn’t possible for everyone. Depending on where you work a wage advance might be possible - I’ve worked in a nursery that sometimes did wage advances for people if they were really struggling.

Can I be cheeky and ask what company this is through? Sounds like a really handy opp for people.

This is true, there appears to be a niche for absolutely everything on OF. I even read about a young man who farts for cash there!

There's also the used tights/well worn shoes thing, I suppose.

EliyanahM · 16/04/2022 01:11

(Before I had kids) I walked dogs for £8/ hour. If you can find someone who works 5 days a week and their dog needs to be walked, that's £40 a week for 1 hour a day.
Attapoll shmattapoll! It's crap. Sorry. It disqualifies me after I've responded to 10+ minutes of their questions. Freezes and closes too. 15 minute surveys for 5p?

Fuckingausterity · 16/04/2022 09:34

Just catching up. Were on an electric/gas meter so it will run out at random when the moneys gone. I’m sure this has been stressful for so many the last few weeks. We have most things turned off but it’s still costing about £4-£5 per day.
I’ve registered with swag bucks and olio. Love this place sometimes
