Hello,

About it to book a day out for my nephew. Can't decide between Legoland and Peppa Pig World. He's three. Which is better for a three year old?

3 is the perfect age for Peppa Pig and my short 3 year old could ride most of the other rides at Paultons too. The dinosaur area was really good and there was even a "real" T rex meet and greet. There's also a quiet walk round a lake. The only really big queue was for the balloon ride - it loads very slowly.

Legoland is ok but a bit faded, very expensive and the queues can be huge. There's also a lot a short 3 year old wouldn't be quite tall enough for.

Paulton's Park is fabulous. It's clean, well maintained and the rides are great. I think the fact it's privately owned means there's a pride in the standards. It's perfect for little ones once they're 90cm tall and even better once they're 1m. I think it's £150ish for a family of 4.

Lego Land was a fun day, but the park feels tired, crammed and mass market. You can tell it's a money spinner. We paid for the Q-bot, which was an extra £45 each!! Total came to £360ish for 4. I'm reluctant to go again at all (my DC loved it though). I wouldn't go without the Q-bot, as the crazy long queues looked miserable. We did all of the rides with nearly no waiting.
