I hope presumably now she's off her meds while pregnant she's getting lots of psychological help. I think her previous pregnancies triggered her MH struggles last time. I wish all the best but I hope she's getting adequate support this time.

Yes... but they were obsessed in a different way. She went from golden girl Miss America collaborating with Madonna, Pepsi ads, the perfumes, a movie, to the woman who'd cheated on poor sad Justin. It was the Dianne Sawyer interview where she cried that did it.

Yes her abusive dad and family kept her locked up.

Good for her. But I do hope someone is still looking out for her mental health - she’s not properly on top of it herself going by her Instagram. While the conservatorship she was under was abusive, her needs were being taken care of.

She was never really Americas golden girl , people were obsessed with her sex life, her body, her age from the time the rolling stone pics were done

All the best to her. Good on her for doing what she wants. Her posts have been concerning and she probably does need to get out more and live a little, not a fan of the partner he's very suss and has also made some extremely concerning, unusual posts under her pics/videos.

But I'm glad the control is gone from her life, should have happened many years ago. But it's definitely had an obvious effect that needs to be dealt with.

Hope it all works out for her. She deserves it.

I don't think she is. Not like people are trying to say. I think we see what she wants us to see, she has a very dry sense of humour sometimes, and also, she doesn't give a fuck anymore and GOOD FOR HER. I personally love the posts where she's told her family to kiss her ass and get fucked. Why should she keep what they did all under wraps? They put all kinds of personal info out into the media about her.

And so what if she does have some issues? Half of the Internet seems to, and no one questions them having kids, so, so what if she does? There are a lot of posts I read on the Internet where I think those people really shouldn't be raising kids, but she's got untold money and help, unlike half the Internet.

@BulletTrain also, not nit picking - but her first perfume came out in 2004 and was pretty popular, she was also still with Pepsi in 2003 - apparently she chose to go with Pepsi instead of Clear Channel for sponsorship and that affected her radio plays because Clear Channel had influence

I'm surprised that nobody has leaked anything about her so called significant mental health issues. Isn't her MH diagnosis still a secret after 18 years? I saw one BS rumour about her having early dementia which was obviously false.

If she is as unwell as people say she is then she would still be in a conservatorship of some sort, her dad just wouldn't be in charge of it.

Would those insisting she's very unwell like to enlighten us as to what is actually wrong with her?

Rich men made money off her being “crazy” they made her Preform when she didn’t want to and let her have no say what so ever in her life. Rich white men making money off a sick yet talented white girl. She’s going though her rebelling stage again sure but she’s wanted a baby for ages. She’s had years of not being able to say what she wanted or do what she’s wanted of course it’s not all spewing out she’s got years to catch up on and make up for.

Never really been a fan, nor has DD so don’t follow her. She’s always been very childlike in her voice and mannerisms. I thought long before her MH problems became apparent that there was something not right about her.

I only looked at her Instagram after reading about the conservator controversy. It is very strange, she makes the same movements, just standing there moving from side to side flicking her hair about, pushing her bottoms down with her thumbs. The close up pic just of her cleavage . The naked pics of someone in her position and her age. I bet her sons are mortified.

As I read the announcement. I thought here she goes.

I imagine all the fans protesting and cheering her on fighting for her ‘freedom’ may realise what a mistake they made very soon. It is abundantly clear her father was trying to protect her but some people just love a bandwagon to jump on.

I bet her Dad will not be happy to say ‘I told you so’. Poor him and poor baby.

Me neither.

She comes across a bit immature and inclined to say what she thinks without any filters, but I would assume that's a result of basically having her adult life stunted by the restrictions of the conservatorship rather than anything more sinister.

Obviously her MH and wellbeing are going to need to be looked after considering what she's been through and her history of pregnancy related depression, but that's no different to thousands of other women.
