I don't know why people are acting like her partner is some "random guy" who has only appeared on the scene since she got her money back etc. They've been together since 2016.

I hope presumably now she's off her meds while pregnant she's getting lots of psychological help. I think her previous pregnancies triggered her MH struggles last time. I wish all the best but I hope she's getting adequate support this time.

It would be nice if this were to work out, but I would put every penny on it coming badly off the rails. She is still clearly very unwell.

There are women on MN who have babies in equally bad situations (and worse) but they don’t get the same commentary. Britney gets far more judgement because she’s in the public eye. I hope she finds peace, health and happiness.

I’m not sure why people refer to her fiancée as a random man whose appeared since the conservatorship ended. He’s been around for years and was ‘approved’ by her father.

I am really very pleased for her and her partner. He seems very devoted to her and hopefully will be a great support to her throughout her journey to becoming a mum again. Good luck to them both!

Rich men made money off her being “crazy” they made her Preform when she didn’t want to and let her have no say what so ever in her life. Rich white men making money off a sick yet talented white girl. She’s going though her rebelling stage again sure but she’s wanted a baby for ages. She’s had years of not being able to say what she wanted or do what she’s wanted of course it’s not all spewing out she’s got years to catch up on and make up for.

We don’t stop people with bipolar or any mental health issue from having babies or any disabilities why alm the hate for a rich white women who’s been controlled by a while old man.

I would imagine the iud she had against her will during the conservatorship was due to the medication she was rightly or wrongly on, not being compatible with carrying a healthy foetus.

I would assume she has been assessed by doctors not on her father’s payroll and if she is still on medication for her MH, it is compatible with a healthy pregnancy.

I don’t think she is a well woman but how much of that is down to the life she was forced to lead during the conservatorship, who would be fully mentally well after that?

I hope she has the happy life she deserves now she’s no longer a prisoner in a guided cage.

This sums up how I feel. Everyone points to 2007 as her low point, but from the time she split up with Justin Timberlake in the early 2000s and he released Cry Me a River the media turned on her. She seemed to manage ok until she was being chased into restaurants after she got married (one time pregnant while carrying her toddler) and was clearly really unwell. I hope she's got some pretty firm doctors who can bypass any lurking threats.

Good for her. All the comments about her mental health being fragile etc are bitchy - nobody knows about her current mental health. All we know is that she is in a long-term relationship and has plenty of money which is more than can be said for a lot of potential parents.

But I do hope someone is still looking out for her mental health - she’s not properly on top of it herself going by her Instagram. While the conservatorship she was under was abusive, her needs were being taken care of.

@BulletTrain the media scrutiny and criticism was intense from the get go - I remember listening to the radio as a young teen and two presenters were snickering and slobbering over a story about Britney and Justin** staying in a hotel together and whether or not they’d had sex or not - and this was when they were still together!
The fact she had to claim to want to be a virgin til marriage in the first place in a vain attempt to stave off the questions and potential criticism about her sex life says it all. People* were and still are obsessed with her personal life

I follow her on insta and I'm really not seeing what everyone else is seeing with the "very unwell" stuff.

I'm not sure what they're talking about either. She is dancing around in some of the posts but that's what she does for a living.

I never understand why people get so invested in the private lives of singers, etc but 40 is ok for pregnancy so why the concern?
