To be totally p**d off with car insurance companies?

I did an online search last night with one of these sites where you can compare a load of insurance companies to gauge how much insuring the potential new car we are getting in a couple of weeks. Today I have had over 20 calls from various insurers. The whole point of doing it online was so I didn't have to waste hours on the bl**dy phone AAAARRRGGGHHHH .

That pisses me off too!!!

"I didn't like your quote, that's why i haven't bought from you. Now f*ck off!!"

I even had 2 calls within a matter of 2 mins apart from the same company. WHen I told the second one one of his colleagues had just called me, he responded "so did you not want our quote then?" ER "NO!"

I've used confused.com and found them very good. No unwanted calls either - though we're TPS listed which has been /spectacularly/ effective at cutting junk calls.

I've done lots of on line insurance quotes and I've never had a follow up phone call. My email in box does tend to be flooded every year at the time the renewal is due though!

Have a look at the Post Office's car insurance.

DH got his from them last week and saved well over 100 quid and got breakdown cover included in the price too. They also gave him the first month free!
