I'm currently ill with pneumonia and a kidney infection, I'm trying to distract myself with movies, does anyone have any recommendations?

Dr Zhivago it’s my favourite film ever, I cry like a baby every time I see it, I don’t really watch a film more then once or twice, but I have seen this so many times and I just love it.

Bridges of Maddison county, anyone to make me cry like a baby.

DarleneSnell · 05/04/2022 20:55

When Harry Met Sally
You’ve got Mail

Both so heartwarming (although YGM feels a bit dodgy in parts now)

BiscuitLover3678 · 05/04/2022 21:00

Emma on Netflix was brilliant

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 05/04/2022 21:03

My most watched film is Jaws. Love it.

I adore the Talented Mr Ripley too.

Tinker Tailor.

In the loop.

Donnie Darko.

An Education.

Never Let Me Go.

And if I stop to watch Steel magnolias for 5 minutes, I’m there to the end. Because I’m a sap like that. 😊

How long have you been unwell for? Hope you'll be better soon!

I think you probably have enough movies to get you through now?!

(More votes for shawshank redemption & green mile & I'm not sure if it's been said, but The Rock (Sean Connery))

I have been house sitting for friends who have Netflix (I don't!!). I enjoyed

The Maid (though 'enjoyed' isn't the right word!
Designated Survivor
Anne with an E[/quote]
I started feeling unwell about 2 weeks ago, decided to ignore it and carry on as I was too busy to get ill Shock stupid really, overnight it completely changed, I went from unwell and some discomfort to my lungs rattling when I breathe, the most horrendous pain in my side and barely able to stand.

Been ordered to stay on bed rest, strong antibiotics and morphine (which I hate) if nothing changes then I'm being admitted to hospital Sad
