AIBU to think these teas are revolting and naff?

A good friend of mine has been waxing lyrical to me about these novelty teas Yorkshire Tea have produced - one apparently tastes like tea and biscuits and one like jam on toast. Is it just me or is there something quite disgusting about tea with these additional sickly flavours? It sounds a bit artificial and grim IMO- I mean if you want to taste a biscuit just have a real biscuit with your tea surely?

Would you ever want one of these, or serve them to someone?

I love the biscuit tea, rarely drink anything else these days. Normal tea tastes like such a let down now! I went through a brief Jam on Toast tea phase but nothing can compare to Biscuit 😃

Does the biscuit one taste sweet? I do dunk biscuits in my tea but I don’t take sugar and if I accidentally take a slurp from the wrong cup I find it disgusting. I can’t decide whether to try the biscuit one or not.

I was a naysayer. I’m a lover of a proper cup of tea and hater of fruit teas.

MY MIND WAS BLOWN!

They are an ordinary cup of tea, with a snacky back flavour.

Not sweet no. Tea, with the aroma of biscuits.

The biscuit one tastes like malted milk biscuits dunked in tea. Glorious.

Not tried jam on toast.

Bedtime brew is decaffeinated and nutmeg and vanilla flavour. Its a milk flavour but I have 1 every night before bed and I am out like a light. Might be psychological but I don't sleep as well on the nights I've run out/not had one.

I'd say it smells sweet, but doesn't taste sweet (as in sugary) it's more the 'sweet' of a herbal tea.

I bought them as I'm having a tea 'crisis' I don't dislike them, but it hasn't solved my 'problem'.

I'm off to see what the bedtime one is all about.

The biscuit one tastes like you've dunked a malted milk for too long and it plops into your tea.. then you're left with sludge at the bottom of your mug. Makes me want to vom just thinking about it..

I've tried the biscuit one, it tastes like regular (quie bland) tea, but the scent is so strong it stinks the whole room out. I'd say it smells like coconut milk or a vague vanilla scent. I don't find it satisfying.

I love the biscuit one. It sits side by side with tea 10x it’s price in my tea drawer. I’m a tea snob usually but the biscuit flavour is just epic for a cosy cuppie.

Thank you @MuggleMadness and @YellowAndGreenToBeSeen. That’s me decided. I looked at the Ocado reviews which are overwhelmingly positive for all these teas and especially for the biscuit one.

I can't work out if I would like it or not - I like a biscuit with my tea but don't like sweet tea.

I used to love the flavoured coffee granules by Douwe Egberts. Can only find the beanies ones now and they taste like nasty cheap coffee.
