We put grass seeds down, talked about picnics and a visit to the beach when it gets warm.

Clearly we’re being punished for my transgressions.

It’s so cold my knee has started to hurt.

I washed my oodie and thought about how nice the new growth on my plants was coming on after the last couple of weeks

I think I'm partially to blame too, for sitting in the garden last week and commenting that the weather is gorgeous and I hope it lasts.

Well, it's not my fault. I didn't plant the tomatoes, sweetcorn or pumpkins last weekend.

Are you sure? I think it's because i turned off the central heating at the beginning of March and there is a threatened mutiny if I don't restore it.

I bought some theatre tickets as an advance birthday present for someone tomorrow. It's likely they won't be able to travel to the theatre because their rail service shuts down at the slightest provocation.

I'm happy to share responsibility for this and shall inform the family.

I ordered a ton of summer clothes from next. Far too over excited.

I put my seedlings in a cold greenhouse now I have to scrabble around in the garage to find some bubble wrap to protect them with.

I put fake tan on my legs last week, now they are wrapped up in thermal leggings.

My fault I’m afraid. Flying back from holiday today with only sundresses and sandals to wear. Didn’t think I’d need anything warmer due to the nice weather when we flew out. If you hear on the news that a woman’s been found frozen to death at a bus stop in Manchester airport, that’ll be me.

I got my sun lounger chairs out of the storage box and set them out in the garden . We won't see sun again!
