We put grass seeds down, talked about picnics and a visit to the beach when it gets warm.

Clearly we’re being punished for my transgressions.

I woke up this morning to blue skies and sunshine. I actually said, "Oh thank goodness the snow didn't come." Twenty minutes later on the dog walk we had sleet hitting us from all directions. Obviously all my fault.

No but we had lunch at the outside table of a cafe last week.

Also I made plans to meet a friend and eat lunch outside.

If it makes it atone for my sins we stuck to our plans and ate outside in the wind and snow.

Does no one ever think of the consequences of their actions these days

I think it’s possibly my fault - we had half the garden cleared and grass seed put down. I also got so hot at the weekend I was painting outside wearing shorts and flip flops.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you. I live in rural NE Scotland. This freezing snap will knock out a breeding cycle of the little b%%^^d midgies this year so less of them in the summer!
