SOS WOTSITS PRAWN COCKTAIL

I know I sound like a nut (and I've posted here for traffic soz not soz!) but can someone PLEASE tell me where I can get Wotsits Giants in the prawn cocktail flavour?! I've seen that they're back but I can't find it in ANY big Sainsbury's store. The label is there but they're all out of stock😭

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and literally NEED this. If anyone knows any stores that have this in stock in SW London (preferably zone 1) then please let me know. I'm desperate!!!

Can't comment on the wotsits but prawn cocktail quavers are also back, they had them in Tesco week. I can't abide them but DH was thrilled

I had this problem with Winter Spice Ribena.

I was pregnant avoiding mulled wine and the Ribena was an excellent choice.

Couldn't bloody find it anywhere.

In a similar vein, whatever happened to spicy tomato wheat crunchies? Now that was a king amongst crisps. Never seen them for years.

There is a complete and utter failure to understand the hierarchy of crisps and how this hierarchy is held in place by adherence to the combination of crisp and flavour.

1. Pickled onion monster munch (and only this flavour)

1. Salt and vinegar chipsticks

1. Wotsits. Cheesy only. This is non negotiable.

1. Gets complicated. I like to think of it as ‘second tier’.

I’ve got a massive thing for prawn cocktail discos at the moment - they are so heavily coated in the flavouring dust I sit and lick them slowly

I got mine from Amazon. They were worth every penny!

Iv had to use Google for this so I could be way out on the zone. But Tesco express city road have them showing on there stock record

Just no. Prawn cocktail is for skips and Walkers only. We lead the world in our crisp manufacturing and there are standards to keep.

I got 2 bags from (a smallish) Tesco yesterday. I was very excited for them but I have to say they aren’t as nice as the ones that they did in the smaller pack

Thanks to the two gals that encouraged me to spend the minimum spend on Ocado on just wotsits🤣 that's seriously something I'd do.
Thanks to the poster who linked the Amazon link. It wasn't in stock before so I'm definitely going to get it from there!

Also prawn cocktail quavers are VOM. They don't taste anything like the old ones yuck

Flaming hot or cheesy are way better. I know because I got a bag of prawn cocktail ones at a NISA store recently. They were ok, but not a patch on the flaming hot ones.

Best crisps ever were spaghetti bolognaise monster munch. They weren’t around long and nobody seems to miss them except me, so I’m not holding out much hope of a revival.

I love a crisps thread. Crisps are the last junk food I could ever give up - sweets, choc, cake, biscuits, even booze could all go before my bag of crisps could be prised from my hands.

Other contenders for top crisps include Mini Cheddars (all varieties, including the frazzled ones), M&S fake wotsits (I think better than the real ones), and Co-op Sea Salt & Chardonnay (lol) vinegar crisps.

Also YES to the PP in favour of s&v chipsticks, also the M&S version is excellent.

Remember scampi and lemon Nik Naks? OMG I loved them. And nice & spicy ones.

They're back?!?!? I remember the multipacks and fighting with my sister over the prawn cocktail ones. Then my mum would refuse to buy any more until we had eaten all the flaming hot ones that nobody liked. Good times .

@Firesidefox noooo Fireside don't betray me! The scampi and lemon niknaks?! The yellow pack😩 my mum would refuse to buy a multipack again because we always left that last and never ate it😂😂

I'll have to agree about the M&S wotsits in the yellow back and their version of chipsticks in the blue pack😂 I'm not really a fan of the originals but M&S just does something to them!

I'm the same tho. I can talk about crisps with so much passion and I could never give them up. I don't care about chocolate, biscuits, sweets etc. I'm currently having a walkers cheese & onion with my tea for breakfast😂

I'm going into Morrisons now to look for some. Shall update.
