AIBU to let the cleaners go after accidentally leaving out a sex toy?

Came home and caught a glimpse of it on the floor. It was half poking out under the bed. The cleaners have obviously vacuumed the room. Don't think there's anyway they won't have noticed it... I'm never going to be able to be in the same house as them again. So I'm going to have to call it quits aren't it?

They weren't actually used in the last session... They were just put on the bed and forgotten about.

I clearly don't need to be as embarrassed as I originally felt.

I'll just keep my toilets extra clean for the next week as a way of apologising

I've not got cleaners or sex toys so not really a good person to comment, but all sorts of embarrassing situations happen in life, you learn just to carry on (you can't avoid everything and you get less bothered as you get older).

This reminds me of something I'd rather forget - my waters broke in public so my husband called my mum to ask her to get me some dry clothes. It occurred to me that she had to rummage in my underwear drawer😣 at the time I didn't really care but it is slightly embarrassing to think what she'd seen!

Women masterbate, sex toys can be used solo or during sex with a partner. Most people I know use sex toys in the bedroom.. a few I know don’t. It’s frankly not my business but if I happened to see someone’s sex toys peeping out from their bed/drawer/wherever it really wouldn’t have any baring on my thoughts.

I’ve done this and my lovely cleaner didn’t bat an eyelid. I expect they’ve seen it all before…let’s face it, a large proportion of women probably have at least one.

iamsore how on earth do you know that? I have never been asked or asked about bedroom sex toys in my life ... is it really a topic of conversation? I must lead a very sheltered life (& no I don't use sex toys ).

As a summer student I worked for a house maintenance/cleaning company. I've seen all kinds of things. Typically we seldom or never saw the clients. Initially I was surprised (you'd see the family photos and then the odd stuff). I admit I was intrigued at first, but after a few weeks the novelty is gone and I'd just want to get the work done asap.
