Would you pay 100k?

Would you pay 100k to be your ideal weight for life? This sounds like a dodgy diet commercial but it’s not 😂

I was just thinking how much I’d pay if a pill existed (with no side effects) that would make you automatically your ideal weight, whatever that might be, and keep you at that weight for life?

Nope

I would give £100k to be one of the people above who say 'just eat less' as they obviously have no idea how shit it is to have disordered eating.

GarlandsinGreece · 26/02/2022 23:48

No, because I’ve been slim my whole life, and at 45, that hasn’t changed at all.

Now if we could pay 100k for a pill that turned by white hairs back to brown, and doubled my hair density, I’m down for that.

No. I'm overweight but I'm also just not a particularly nice looking person. If I had £3k I might pay for cosmetic surgery for another issue, if I had £10k I might take a slim-for-life-pill but I'd definitely not waste £100k- think of the good you could do with that money!!

Is this idea linked with hedonism? So those who pay can eat and drink whatever they want? It's tempting, obviously. But it's also psychologically advantageous to be able
to prove to ourselves that we can rely on ourselves to make smart decisions for our own wellbeing.

No. My weight isn't the problem, I'm thin but not toned. My stomach is a baggy mess courtesy of DS!

Catra · 27/02/2022 00:16

Yes, I would. I've probably spent more than that on clothes, trying to accommodate all the many different sizes I've been over the years.

ukborn · 27/02/2022 00:26

Yes

TooOldandTired · 27/02/2022 00:27

Yep definitely!

Hhoney · 27/02/2022 00:38

Yes, I’d do it.
