So my high school friend visiting me in April, first time we will meet since graduating from high school which was 30 years agoConfused I thought we treat ourselves to an afternoon tea in London. The choices are
Claridges
The Goring
Wolseley
Berners
Ritz
Savoy

Or if you have any other recommendation please add to the list but I need to decide soon! Help!

TIA

Savoy or F&M get my vote. Avoid the Ritz.

The Dorchester is lovely

Fortnums, hands down. Ask if the are offering a tea tasting too.

I absolutely loved The Savoy but it's the only one I've been to in London.

@Lululemonade38

The Landmark is my fave. Stunning venue and lovely, friendly staff. Ive been to few afternoon teas but this is my favorite.
I second that!

I think £70 per person would have to be a champagne tea

Sketch!

Sketch is my absolute favourite, but has more of a modern twist. The Rosewood is a very close second, followed by The Connaught! The Savoy is also good too!! ( As you can tell I love an afternoon tea 😂)

The Landmark is the best IMO.
