To expect that dd's new duvet set lasts more than 7 days??

I bought 2 duvet sets from Argos for dd for xmas.

Its white with a band of sequins towards the top. Now I know this is not particularly sensible but I would have expected them to stay on at least til the first wash.

Its been on her bed since boxing day and has lost about 10 sequins already and now looks tatty and like she's had it for years.

Could I take it back as not fit for purpose?

I know I certainly would - absolutely not fit for purpose if they come off so quick

Def take it back.
Could try a swap - that one might have been sewn with end of bobbin or something and not be as good?

have seen some plain pink bedding in next that she quite likes and will match her curtains.

So off to argos tomorrow!
