My favourite colour is green. I do like a nice light blush though.

thefamous5 · 12/02/2022 12:47

Pink is my favourite colour (38 years old!). Love any shade. I wear a lot of it and my bedroom is pink

blackdumpling · 12/02/2022 12:52

To quote Aerosmith

Pink
Is my new obsession
Pink
It's not even a question

FourTeaFallOut · 12/02/2022 12:56

I'm not a big fan of pink but I live in a house with DH and three boys. Anything I don't want to migrate around the house, my tablet, charges, pens, pencils, calculators, I get in pink and amazingly they stay put. So, I've warmed to it.

Gizacluethen · 12/02/2022 12:59

To wear? Black or grey.
Just as a colour to look at? Used to be teal but I quite like a burnt purple kind of colour.

callingon · 12/02/2022 13:01

I like any pink really but my fave is an aggressive fuchsia or hot pink like a Bougainvillea. Somehow that’s never quite the pink that makes it onto Mother’s Day cards…

notacooldad · 12/02/2022 13:02

Powder pink is one of my favourites and really suits me. Every tine I wear that colour someone normally comments that I’m looking good.

SuperSocks · 12/02/2022 13:04

Dark Purple is my favourite colour, but I have a fair amount of deep pink in my life as they go together so well!

Stillgoings · 12/02/2022 13:10

I love pink. It doesn't suit my colouring so I don't wear it and I haven't got much pink around the house so you'd never know I like it but I do. I like all colours, pastel, bright and muted, can't choose..I think purple is probably my worst.

ShittyFingers · 12/02/2022 13:13

No it’s green and yellow as it reminds me of nature

TheGoogleMum · 12/02/2022 13:15

I like pink but prefer purple. It also depends a bit on what it is and the shade though

Hesma · 12/02/2022 13:17

I don’t mind pink but my fave is red

gingerhills · 12/02/2022 13:40

Currently it's orange, but usually it's blue. I just have an orange fixation right now.

TreeLawney · 12/02/2022 13:44

I like pink but I like lots of colours. Isn’t the unreasonable bit expecting adults to have favourite colours?

Opus17 · 12/02/2022 13:52

Not a fan of pink. I love turquoise. Also a fan of orange.

BobHadBitchTits · 12/02/2022 14:45

I don't particularly like pink (only girl with two older brothers so I think that ruined it for me!) but my son loves pink. There is a lot of it in my house.

MinorWomensWhiplash1 · 12/02/2022 14:52

Pink is definitely my favourite, and I love most of the variations except for the super brights (no hot pink or fuschia).

hugr · 12/02/2022 14:53

Love blush pink, rose gold and dark green

TurquoiseDragon · 12/02/2022 15:01

I like pink, often as a bit of an accent. Especially darker pinks.

But my favourite colour is turquoise, and my general go-to colours are turquoise, teal, blues, and greens.

Having said that, my kitchen is mostly cream with pastels, including pink, a scheme agreed between DD and me. I have my bedroom in turquoise and white, though. Feels very calming and relaxing.

Strugglingtodomybest · 12/02/2022 15:02

I love green, apart from pastel green, I hate pastels.

I'm not a big fan of pink, I always thought it made me look too Barbie-ish when I was younger, but I'll wear it now, just not pastel pink!

maddening · 12/02/2022 15:08

Turquoise is my favourite colour

hisnameisfreckles · 12/02/2022 15:12

Just about any colour other than pink lol

Malacath · 12/02/2022 15:15

My favourite colour is teal, and in recent years I'd say I prefer lots of shades of blue and green. I despise pink as being the only colour for girls and women. I own some sports gear with a touch of bright pink, only because there were no other options.
When dd was little, despite trying to actively buy different colours we still ended up with lots of pink clothes and she loved it for years. I'm glad she now prefers Pikachu yellow and we need less pink in the house! 5 year old ds has decided a year ago his only favourite colour is red, and dh doesn't mind but if forced would say red too. Phew, no more need to buy anything pink specifically Grin

FKATondelayo · 12/02/2022 15:21

Pink is my favourite colour and I am a proper terfy rad-fem.

I have a bright pink front door, pink chairs and sofa and, black/grey/denim aside, it's the most frequent colour in my wardrobe. It suits me (cool Spring) and i often get pink stuff as gifts from friends. I'm writing this on a pink laptop, in a pink case next to my pink iphone.

I grew up in the 70s/80s so didn't get the 'pink for a girl' brainwashing. In fact, quite the opposite. Because i was a 'brainy' ugly child the idea that I'd ever try and pretty myself with pink was laughable. I was supposed to be unattractive and read books and leave femininity to the proper girls. So I embraced pink for that reason.

I don't like pink for girls / blue for boys - my boys also wear pink. But I don't like the notion that because pink is 'feminine' it's a horrible, hateful colour.

amusedbush · 12/02/2022 15:40

My favourite is teal but not too bright, more muted shades of it. I love sage green, too.

The attached is a random photo I took from google. That colour is what Apple calls "cactus" and that's my favourite shade.
