As a adult women is your favourite colour pink

Yabu of course my favourite colour is pink!!!
Yabu there is so many colours mine is....

I'm sure we all know about the pink tax I wanted to know how many womens favourite colour is actually of the pink variety.

I dislike pink, because my mother used to insist I have the pink versions of everything because I was a girl. My brother didn't only get blue - he could have any colour except pink. I decided at a young age that this was very unfair and I hated pink.

Of course it's just a colour and I don't care that much now, but I still have an aversion and won't choose pink things if there's a decent alternative like blue or green. Pinkification annoys me.

Even as a child I rejected pink as I disliked having to like something just because I was a girl. It seemed so stupid.

I like purple, turquoise, yellow... bright colours really.

Purple and blue here! Pink can go nice with either or both depending on the shade.

It depends. Are we talking about clothing, paint, car, bedding, furniture….?

I don’t mind a pink t shirt or jumper. I wouldn’t buy pink trousers. My bathroom walls are pink. I wouldn’t want pink walls in my living room. I wouldn’t buy a pink car either… My duvet contains pink (among other colours). My sheets and pillowcases are always white. I have a pink hand towel in the bathroom. I bought a pink outfit for my granddaughter last week. I wouldn’t buy a pink outfit for my grandson (I’m too old to be woke. My DIL wouldn’t appreciate a pink outfit for her DS either).

My favourite colour is yellow and has been since I was a kid. I wouldn't wear it or paint my house in it necessarily

I don't feel you have to do anything with your favourite colour, I started wearing a little bit of yellow accessories and I really like it. I wouldn't decorate my house with yellow stuff.

Yellow had definitely been my family colour as long as I remember. My daughter's is red which is nice, she's 4

All colours have their uses and merits I suppose although I generally like cool colours more than warm colours.

I used to actively dislike pink as it is forced on girls and women as something that is for them, like it or not. As I've aged I've become more open to wearing pink, but as someone above me I don't like the pinkification of everything intended for females. Also the notion that boys and men can't wear pink. It's all nonsense isn't it.

I love the colour Fuschia. I had a blouse this colour in the 1980's and wore it till it fell apart Grin
Pink of any shade seemed much rarer then? Now it's everywhere.
I love royal blue or bright green when it comes to clothes, suits my colouring much better.

I'm an adult female and my favourite colour is pink, so I guess YABU?

It's got nothing to do with pink being for girls and blue for boys - I also love blue, just personally, pink is my favourite colour, specifically baby pink for the same reasons anyone has a favourite colour.

I do like other colours of course, and I actually don't own much in pink, but if I was to choose a favourite it would be pink

Purple and turquoise and teal.

Pink is OK but I wouldn't choose it for myself. I don't think I actually own anything pink.

YABU for way over complicating the poll options. Taking away your initial typo, your title is 'is your favourite colour pink?' mine isn't, so I want to select 'YABU' but you've said I should answer YANBU, and it's TOO CONFUSING. I've had a drink, but I suspect you have too... (Ftr, I've never liked pink. Although I have just painted my bathroom a very bright pink and turquoise. But I'd never dream of wearing anything pink, not even socks.

I am really enjoying hearing everyone's favourite colours though. Might start one about dinosaurs or science tomorrow.

No red but pink is a close second and my wedding dress was pink and one of my funeral songs is "pretty in pink"
