What % of your income is your mortgage?

I realised I have no idea what other people do. For transparency, ours is 10% (household income £5000, mortgage £500. But think we might move house and up the % but then that feels scary. But maybe I’m being a wuss.

Just interested in what others do x

9% of net annual income but 16% of monthly outgoings (dh’s pay is structured salary+bonus).

About 10% of joint net income but 3/4 of mortgage is interest only so we have to save another 10-15% to ensure it will be repaid.
