I want an affordable hard back A3 notebook with lined paper that is thick enough to write on both sides. It needs a pen holder. Not too thick or thin and not spiral bound. Not ugly.
I've been looking for months and can I find one?!

What things are you searching for that really shouldn't be this hard to find?

I want to try out wearing a bralet thing for comfort, but they only seem to go in sizes like s, m, l. What I want is a better size guide than 'L: might fit you, Dahlia, or might be better suited to a flat-chested bear'? Is that too much to ask?

A vegetarian fake meat battered sausage from a chip shop. A local one advertised a veggie battered sausage and we were very excited but it was a vegetably sausage. Not envy. Very disappointing.

DH - heating engineer and plumber gets equally pissed off as it tars everyone with the same brush. He recommends phoning- every time. Says they'll usually pick up rather than texting!

Running shorts for women - with pockets. Proper pockets that I can put my car keys and phone in and zip up. Is that asking so much? I need decent length, decent coverage. Not blooming booty shorts,! Ended up getting some men's ones (they're allowed pockets...) Flappy legs unfortunately , the shorts, not me, and drawstring to pull tighter but I am sure one day they will be around my ankles .

^ This^. I all ready have "swimmers shoulders" I look like a brick shit house in these dresses. UnfortunateIym bought 2 from Next and 2 from Whitestuff online and didn't even notice until I put them on. Transported straight back to 1985 and looked life an ugly extra from Dallas.

Online clothes sites where you can remove all the petite/plus size/tall/maternity as appropriate for your needs.

You're either pregnant or you're not, if you're not, no one wants to scroll through pages and pages of maternity stuff. And if you are average height, you don't want to be thinking "oh that's just what I want!" only to discover it's only in petite.

If they can filter by size and price and you can search for maternity or petite, surely it should be possible to search for everything but maternity or petite?

Off the top of my head, New Look and Zalando do this. You can filter by fit.

Oh also, a smart (like office wear smart) Mac that is actually waterproof and has a hood. You can get loads of casual or 'outdoor' styles but nothing smart enough for a corporate type job or to wear on a evening out.

This. Knew Brexit would cause this.

You can't find a plumber to do a small job, they only want to put in new bathrooms or a boiler. They say they can't do it for six weeks and then cancel on the day. This is people who have high ratings for reliability on Checkatrade, say no job too small, and who aren't cheap.

It happened to us twice when we needed a cistern replacing. Three months it took and cost hundreds.

Similarly with electricians/decorators etc.

I manage to find these by cutting out a piece of cardboard the same size as my usual brand of bread, and then actually trying it in the various appliances in the shop.

It takes all the guesswork away because I can actually see if the bread would fit properly by popping it in (it's actually shocking how many brands are all catered to the small square loaves of bread most other european countries use !)
