Why is noone reacting to the ridiculous misogynistic and male modifying behaviour discussed and jokingly accepted by a Hollywood actress and the host on BBC 1?

I thought Graham Norton was a sweetie. He always comes across as a lovely bloke. I think he's much nicer than Jonathan Ross.

Yes we can get maccies delivered until around 4am. Sadly, and despite the fact id mentally eaten halfway through the menu like the very hungry caterpillar gone rogue I didnt get anything and resorted to making a bowl of porridge in the early hours....I mean it was alright. I make bloody good porridge but it wasn't a maccies. Im still full of regret andd have an afternoon snackette planned.

I'm not sure I understand but if it is about an actor being controlled off set then hasn't that always gone on with male and female actors? Male actors having to pretend they were straight so that they didn't lose the "pin up" status, female actors having to fit their image maybe appearing young and innocent when they live a very different lifestyle or the reverse.

It's part of the job isn't it, it's all a fantasy world.

I saw this OP and thought it was odd too, the way she spoke about it though I think she spoke gently and he's not a bad person.

Because I am female, in a senior professional role at work and I don’t encounter men or women trying to squash me, a single mother and have a lovely day planned today in London with the children, that has had to be rescheduled multiple times because, well you know why!

My point is, I’m not texting because I’m simply not bothered and determined to enjoy my life and focus on what I care about

On a Hollywood actress on GN - is not something I’m bothered about

Wouldn’t the fries get cold?

Possibly because there are more important things to worry about e.g. Energy, food prices, cost of heating your home to name but a few

Tbh I found James McAvoy more concerning talking about wanting to smell her etc. He came across as a creep at the start of the program and I don't think it is ok to normalise men acting like that on the BBC.

They have special bags to help keep the food warm. Don't order drinks though, if you've got an icy cup of coke next to your food you end up with it cold.

If it’s Penelope Cruz the director will likely be Pedro Almodovar? They’ve got a new film out. He’s gay so it can’t be sexual harassment like others have suggested though of course could still be abusive.

I read the whole thread and the only thing I’m sure about is that I really want a Big Mac.

I'm guessing it was the directing equivalent of method acting. I find method acting a struggle to justify too. But I guess we have to trust Penelope Cruz's judgement, as she has worked with him often (I think?) and she would presumably have the pick of other projects.
