To the LOVELY "lady" who spouted a load of vitriol at my DP in tesco car park.........

Firstly, NO he did not see that you were indicating to go into that parking space. He actually thought you were stopping to let him in.

Secondly, he IS a lovely man thankyou very much!

Thirdly, nice language to use in front of your children!!!!

I cannot believe this woman got so angry over my DP getting in "her" space. He would never deliberately do this as he himself finds it rude and inconsiderate. What im even more incredulous about is the fact that there were loads of other parking spaces available in parent and child parking, its not like she had to walk much further, maybe about 20 feet!!

I can just imagine that the kids in the car were giving her a hard time! I was tempted to go up to her car and say kindly, but firmly BREATHE!!! (But i was too scared!)

Too many people drive on waaay too short a fuse.

They seem almost delighted to be presented with the self justification to spout off like this. It's disgraceful

funnily enough, the woman at the next checkout ranted at another lady for saying something to her child. I dont know what happened though, so cant say who was right, it appeared the other woman told the child off, but she WAS climbing on the conveyor belt, she might just have told her to be careful. Interestingly, i thought i was going to have to rescue the same child from falling out of the trolley earlier on, poor mum had her hands full!! Must be the post christmas come down!

isnt mumsnet great - instead of marching straight up to her and "sinking to her level" i still get the last word by posting on here. Unless of course she is here too, i shall look for a thread entitled, "incosiderate bastard parked in my parking space at tesco, and simply smiled when i took him to task - arsehole!!" Then of course i shall ask her to step outside!

Some people!

We were in a cafe before C'mas & a girl ordered some milk for her child. She asked for semi skimmed & the lady behind the counter said "Semi skimmed?? Do you not know that you should really give her full fat milk until she's older?"

I looked at the girl, rolled my eyes & said "Some people think they know it all don't they?!!" She simply smiled & said "I'm 17, I'm used to it"
