To not wear a mask when breastfeeding my baby

Was feeding 3 mo DS on the train through London this afternoon and took my mask off so he could see my face properly and we could interact. I find BF weird with a mask on. AIBU?

This is SOOOO about mask wearing and not breast feeding 🙄

If only parents continued to care about the optimal 24/7 development and growth of their children - including on public transport, while eating lunch - beyond the initial fog of baby- and toddlerhood. The world would be a better place.

There was a lot of discussions last year about not enforcing mask wearing for care givers with children under three. We are starting to see the negative effects of the restrictions on children. There's also scientific evidence that masks are pointless against Omicron. Here's one report on masks and children's development.
