I took the dd's to church this evening. Dh took ds out in the car at 6.30 pm, where of course he fell asleep, to then wake up again at 8 pm. He is still awake now and judging by past experiences will probably keep going until about midnight, to then be cranky in the morning.

Am now hiding up here, while dh deals with ds, but feeling grumpy because I can't put the presents out and wanted to relax in front of TV with glass of wine, but if ds sees me he starts crying...

That would piss me off no end. Esp at the age your ds looks, (cutie btw)

I like them in bed and asleep by 7 so I can relax and enjoy the evening, any evening, but esp on xmas eve when you have imp stuff to do.

Forget to put his pressies under the tree, and good for you for making him deal with ds, since it was his fault he is awake.
