In not wanting to drive my EX accross town on xmas day

My ex, father of my 2 is coming over on the big day. He's just announced that I said ages ago that I'd drive him to his mums before I set off for my mums at 5pm. He's now in a right stress because I've said there's no way I said that. It means a 1/2 hr round trip to his mums and it's gonna take 3/4 hr to get to my mums. He's already made xmas eve a misery and I'm just feeling awful. It'll only take him 15/20 mins to cycle. Why should I drive for an extra 1/2 hr on xmas day for him?!?!

He's your ex, you shouldn't do anything you don't want to do.

Tell him very calmly he should make his own arrangements and if this means he can't make it tomorrow to let you know.

Don't take responsibility for him ,it just sounds like him trying to manipulate you.

Yeah, story of my life with him. That's why he is the ex!

on Christmas day have alcohol so you cannot drive - fulfills two functions
1 - makes you merry
2 - excuse not to drive his nibs about

clever huh

Ha ha would be a good plan, thing is I have to drive to my mums so I can begin my xmas day! Will just be tolerating it until then coz he'll be here. It's all about the kids though and they want him here.
