Do you remember when BT had that competition for people signed up to their Family and Friends deal? You could win a luxury all-expenses-paid tropical island holiday for yourself and all your F&F people. My sister and brother-in-law were mortified to realise that this would mean that if they won, they'd have to spend a fortnight on a tropical beach with the owners of the Balti Bazaar, the cabdrivers from Allstar Cars, and my BIL's parents.
