In listening to Space Cowboy on my iPod because I can't stand the office musak?

It was giving me a headache, that Michael Jackson one where he's about 5 and really really straining his voice to sing I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, and Luther Van Farking Dross singing something even worse. All the secretaries are singing along and saying how nice it is.

I'd never normally listen to my ipod at work but I have to block it out somehow!

You are a solitary rock of sanity among those who have ill-advisedly left their brains in a freezer in Tesco. Enjoy your music

You could trade jobs with me.

Alone, dark, freezing office and not a single clue that it is almost christmas. Desk covered in paperwork, boss' wife 'bah humbugging', all the while giving her DH an enormous shopping list, getting her house cleaned, sending out her ironing and preparing to enjoy festive season with someone else cooking the dinner for her, even wrapping her presents.

I would love a bit of festive spirit in here.

Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun.

I work among miserable bastards who have no reason to be miserable - quite the contrary.

GrumpYULEhorsewoman · 21/12/2007 13:04

Not implying you are a miserable bastards, mumble.

Sorry, it came out all wrong.

I have to agree about the christmas songs, anyway. They are the main reason (I kid you not) that I did my shopping online this year.
