About 50. I’m 51 and wore it sometimes in my early 20s.

SocksAndTheCity · 26/12/2021 00:37

I like and wear it and I'm 48 Smile

Back21970 · 26/12/2021 00:49

I’m 56, I bought it when I was in my late 20’s - couldn’t afford it before then but think it had already been out a few years so I would say 50 ish .
I bought a small bottle few months back for £6.99 out of SemiChem, still like it X

YouWereGr8InLittleMenstruators · 26/12/2021 00:59

Ha ha, I love it and have probably worn it for 25 years.

Cheeseplantboots · 26/12/2021 01:57

It’s one of my favourites, work it since I was about 20. I’m 50 ish.

LaBellina · 26/12/2021 01:59

In your 50’s

Thisisworsethananticpated · 26/12/2021 08:53

45-50

PAFMO · 26/12/2021 08:58

@pluggee

Why are people saying 55 as wasn't it aimed at teens/early 20s back in the day?
It was marketed as "sex". As I said upthread, I'm 56 and after smelling the perfumed strip in April 1986 Cosmopolitan when it was still very new and being launched in Europe scoured shops trying to find it. Nobody had heard of it. The ad campaign, plus the skanky musky scent makes it one of the century's perfume gamechangers.
PAFMO · 26/12/2021 08:59

@pluggee

I thought it launched in the 90s in the UK though?
No, I bought my first bottle in the UK in 1987.

I thought it was early 90s, but I am wrong (Googled it!)

I know it was marketed very heavily then though. I see it very much as "my generation".

coodawoodashooda · 26/12/2021 09:03

@daimbarsatemydogsbone

Is it 83? What do I win? What is restyling yourself?
Losing weight and taking a bit of pride in my appearance.

I’d say you’re mid fifties at least, I know two women who still wear it and that’s their age range.

UserBot · 26/12/2021 09:11

So what age are you?

I wear chanel cristalle eau de parfum if I'm going out or ck one for day.

I don't care what age I was when they came out.

I don't think being certain that you do like a particular scent is ageing. If you like it you like it, hang your sail on that mast (or whatever that saying is).

liveforsummer · 26/12/2021 09:21

Late 40's/early 50's I remember having I to as a teen in the early 90's and feeling very grown up 😆. I can't imagine my nearly teen dd wearing it now though. The fresher scents seem more popular these days.

I was going to say 43! I still wear perfume from my teens.

Toadsinholes · 26/12/2021 09:40

I don’t remember Obsession at all? But did love CKone & Eternity - I think they’re probably all a bit 90s now though. I need a new perfume too - I’ve been wearing the same one about 20 years. I have become that person who hasn’t changed their look since they were 21 & young & beautiful & now I need to get more modern…

Toadsinholes · 26/12/2021 09:43

I just googled it and now I do remember it - a friend wore it at school in the late 80s I think, we thought she was very glamorous.

Roselilly36 · 26/12/2021 09:44

50-60

Roselilly36 · 26/12/2021 09:45

Sorry OP, x-post.

UserBot · 26/12/2021 09:45

You're only young! in your prime.

If you like it wear it. I think it's a classic and it hasn't been discontinued for that reason.

I'm 51 and some of the old ones seem to have more identity. A lot of new ones I smell them and think I'll never remember that. Although Tom Ford was the exception to that. His have strong character.

I loved TF vert boheme and pooof it was discontinued.

If you are re-styling yourself, don't change everything for the sake of it. Hang on to what you liked. Change what you didn't like.

It's ok to be 45 as well. The people who will recognise Obsession as having been around for a while are the people who have............... been around for a while.

I'm never going to stop loving ck one! It's my go to for a fresh day scent.

plominoagain · 26/12/2021 09:45

@ShinyHappyPoster

45-49. I'm with a pp, I liked CK one.
Me too . Still do . Last year DS got me a bottle of CK All , and now I’m torn between the two.
