It was so special

Just wanted to share this as it made my day.

Christmas Day - just the four of us - me, my 18 year old daughter, 13 year old DS and 11 year old DS. I'm a single mum with no extended family and was feeling anxious about the whole thing.

My 11 year old is non verbal. The only word he says regularly is Mum.
They were all so happy and grateful for the presents I had chosen for them.
My daughter and 13 year old DS kept saying "Thank you", and then as clear as anything I heard another little voice say "Thank you".

I'm going through a really tough time, and hearing him say that just made the day so extra special.
It was just amazing!

That's lovely news - I'm so pleased for you Xmas Smile

What a lovely post. I’m shocked at the amount of ungrateful whinging and moaning there is on here today. It’s refreshing to hear of someone having a special day. I’ve had a lovely day. Very low key and relaxing with my husband and adult children.

Awesome 🥰 and I know just how you will be feeling x
My sons almost none verbal ( he scripts phases off the tv only) and about a month ago ( I've waited 17 years to hear it) he just casually walked past me smiling and said I love you mum 🥰.
He hasn't said it since but I know it's in there x
MERRY CHRISTMAS and enjoy your precious gift from today x
