I walked into the kitchen to see the cat and dog sharing the gammon joint I had left on the side at the back to cool . Partners in crime 😅😅

Here to say that you YABU because should forgive them for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.

I most definitely don’t ‘let’ them walk all over the kitchen work surfaces, I can’t stop the little buggers doing it! Get one off, the other pops up!
Hence the plan to expel them from the kitchen. Though as some have pointed out, Burmese work out how to open doors. I’m doomed.

We had to ban the kittens when we ate our meals as they were just so annoying and were climbing all over to check out the food. They are seven months now and much better. I have dogs so my cats get fed on the counter though they are so messy! I keep removing them when cooking and eventually they lose interest. They are obsessed with the sink though.

Mine is banned unless she is supervised.

I once went into the kitchen to find her being a duvet fir the slow cooker - sorry I didn't get a pic before I ousted her, she wasn't impressed.

Kittens are better at being "dressed" - mine started wearing a harness to go out at about three months, but I wouldn't rate my chances of starting with one now.
