I'm ill, I'm cold, I'm cuddled up in bed with my purry hot water bottle and I suddenly started crying about how much I loved her. Then she licked my tears and I cried even more thinking about what it's going to be like when she dies.

She's 6 ffs.

She is the bestest most beautiful cat in the whole of the known universe and beyond. Of course. Sometimes I just look at her face, and her perfect whiskers, and THOSE PAWS

I'm ridiculous. (When I typed in I'm, the next word it wanted me to use was 'Single'. Which I am. Probably because I'm over invested in my cat. Did I tell you she has the cutest little heart nose?)

Cats are the best. I once had one who would wait outside the house for me to come home after night shifts, then it was a race to get into my bed before he did.
If I was ill he would lie across the threshold of my bedroom almost keeping guard.

The cat I have now has been most put out today as I have dared to wash my bedding. She sloped off to sleep on my son's bed instead.
However, even though I sneaked up and put the clean stuff on a short while ago- all whilst she was fast asleep in another room- she is now back in position on my bed.

They know things. 🐱🐱🥰

My dear cat comes to say good morning every day day 5am but so gently and politely it's hard to be cross! She will just lie on the pillow and purr into my ear to let me know she is there. Nothing like love for a cat.

I love my cat so very much - she’s 10 and in robust health but I’m already worrying how much longer she’ll be with us for. After our last cat died I didn’t think I’d ever love another as much but I do.

Definitely the most pampered and loved of pets. Even though she's been not treated well in the past, she's learning to trust us and let's me pick her up now, which I feel so privileged about.

I've always had at least one cat (at times, 3 of them) and cannot imagine never having at least one. My boy is about 17 now, and definitely slow and doddery. I absolutely adore him

I’m so sorry to the OP and PPs, but it is in fact I who is the servant to the king of cats. He is a big fluffy ginger boy, and once when I took him to the Vets, they asked if they could take a photo for their website.

Cats are wonderful when you feel ill. They snuggle up and kiss you and stroke you with their paws. I totally get why you love her so much.

Hate to be the one to break it to all of you but I actually DO have the best cat in the world.

He is a little fat man, all black and bloody lovely. He’s my stress toy and I spend far too much time kissing and cuddling him.

We spend hours wrapped round each other. I bloody luffs him😻
