To be pissed off with my Tesco delivery 4 hours before it is even due to arrive?

I just checked my account and they've taken £30 less than I expected.

This means that a fair few items will not be delivered.

This means that I'll have to send DH out to the shops in search of things.

DH is crap at shopping. If the item doesn't wave at him from the shelf and jump up and down yelling his name then "they didn't have any"

And I bet it won't be simple things like bread that will be missing, oh no oh no, it'll be my small jar of something specific and vital that dh will NEVER find.

You know what the problem is, don't you? It's all those maniacs who stockpile every Christmas like they're preparing for a nuclear winter. I bet my local tesco is like those pics you always see of bare shelves in russian shops and women queuing for 3 hours for a pint of milk.

I've forgotten who I'm mad at now. ah yes. Tesco. Bastards.

AND I've got a d&v bug and was up all night putting each end on the loo in turn.

my tesco shop FINALLY arrived........right on the last minute!!!

altho that may have been my fault.

cos of the price, I never told mr psycho when I had ordered it......hence he didn't get to tell me that he had a new card to put down instead. SO tesco rang to say that card had been rejected(dontcha just hate that feeling?!)

anyhoo.......ran down to DH feeling rather sick.....he took over the convo and lo.......he had had a new card and as I had felt the need to hide the amount and not tell him till "oh, tesco is coming today", me got rather told off!

also made all the deliveries late as they had had to wait until our patyment had been sorted before leaving.

PLEASE let all my shopping come tonight. I can't get to the shops again before christmas!!!

am nervous now. Have delivery booked for tomorrow of veg and stuff!
