Deserts are the best and I read the Christmas magazines and see the most amazing deserts 😋🤤 and think wow yes, yes I’d buy that for £15! DH thinks I’m mad…. Fine but if everyone else thinks it’s fine then it’s fine! 😂

So £2.50 per serving? Bargain!

Can I admit OP, I went so far as to go onto Doan's Bakery website for their white chocolate coconut Bundt cake - and had they shipped to the UK (Tom Cruise flies his by private jet so I should have guessed they didn't) I might have done it as a Xmas present to me

The best cake I have ever had was a strawberry cream cake made by a Harrods pastry chef. It was exquisite.

But I usually spend 3 quid on marks and sparks Victoria Sandwich or Coffee cake, whilst fantasising on how the other half live.

🤣 We all do it. I blame autocorrect, I swear I’ve read something too and it seemed fine then after posting notice all the little errors 🙄🙂

We don’t do dessert really for Christmas as it is Christmas pudding or apple pie so very low cost.

If doing a different special dessert I wouldn’t have a limit, you pay around £6 per person in a restaurant for dessert so something £10-20 for lots of people is still a reasonable price to pay.

Bought an amazing gin and tonic semi-freddo from Cook the other week for a family get together - was £8.50 and would recommend it!

this person has the nicest desserts on her page. Ive wasted ages trying to find the little truffle houses from M and S that she has on one of her posts. Cant find it so I'm gutted. the little houses are so cute.

Eating a dessert alone in the desert would make you feel deserted. And that you hadn’t received your just deserts. OP, you can’t buy a whole desert for £10. But you might get a small sand pit….
