I don't get the cheese obsession.. Please tell my I'm not the only one!

Had a buffet lunch a few weeks ago - wide selection of vegan cheese - not good.
Other than that (and Blue cheese) - weird.

I want some halloumi now

I'm with you!! Smells like feet, cheddar has the consistency of wax. Bleugh! When metled it goes all stringy and stretchy like slime. It's nice to know I'm not the only one in the world that doesn't like cheese!

I don't like it either. I can do a little bit of melted mozzarella on lasagne or on pizza as long as it has plenty of toppings but that's it. Oh and I can eat a couple of bites of halloumi to be polite.

It's one of those things that I hate to not like because it's in EVERYTHING. Not liking cheese wipes out half of most restaurant/cafe menus. Plus people look at you like you have two heads when you say "oh no thank you, I don't really like cheese". I really wish I liked cheese 😂

I so hoped that my dc's would like cheese because it's such a PITA if you don't like it so I'm very relieved that they are both cheese lovers.

Thank God I'm not the only one. EVERYONE I know in real life loves cheese! The taste, the smell, the texture . I do like halloumi as it's nothing like cheese and I can now manage melted mozzarella on a pizza as long as there are lots of other toppings - not helped by the fact that I also hate tomato!

I reguarly make cheesy wholemeal breakfast scones. Vintage Cheddar at least.
Like tea time scones but with extra cheese in and on. Baked a bit larger and eaten warm with butter.
It is the only way I can think of to eat cheese for breakfast!

I made my first Stilton and Broccoli soup the other day. Cor Blimey that was a strong taste. But very nice.

Have you tried ALL the cheeses though?

Chatting to the cleaner in work she admitted she didn't like cheese. I said she was a freak.

I've never liked cheese, people tend to look at you like you've grown an extra head if you say so though 😂

I can cope with it melted in pizzas or paninis, as long as its a mild cheese and there are other stronger flavours there.

Definitely can't eat it on its own, especially unmelted. I find the texture of it unpleasant.

It's horrible. It annoys me that so many items on menus contain cheese. We went for a carvery the other day. They had cheesy leeks, cauliflower cheese. I love cauliflower and leeks but not with vile cheese on it.

I'm weird when it comes to cheese I cannot eat cheese if it hasn't been melted it gives me the 🤢 but if it's been melted I can eat it no problem. Only mozzarella and cheddar mind you 😂
