To paraphrase John's alleged comment about Ringo "He's not the best drummer in the world. He's not even the best drummer in The Beatles", I would say that Paul wasn't the hottest rock star in the world. He wasn't even the hottest rock star in the Beatles. That would be George.

I feel like I should go to Specsavers with some of these-they just aren't on my 'hot' radar at all.

To the PP who mentioned Stuart Sutcliffe ("the 5th Beatle") - he was WAY more attractive than any of the others and would have aged beautifully. If I had to pick a Beatle on looks alone I would go for George, then Ringo, then Paul then John but not keen on the last two. And the way John treated women was vile: "I used to be cruel to my woman, and physically - any woman. I was a hitter. I couldn't express myself and I hit. I fought men and I hit women". Lovely stuff /s 😒

Paul was always too much of a googy-goody to have any real sex appeal. As people have said, he wasn't even the sexiest Beatle (I always preferred John Lennon myself ).

Jim Morrison was the sex God of that era. His weird "snake King" image coupled with his sublime beauty was pure sex. It's a shame his looks went downhill very quickly

We clearly fall into 'types'. I'm in the Lenny/Jim/Elvis group. Sexy, decent lips, no 'boy next door' rockstars thanks. They're supposed to be the antithesis of whomever lives next door. I'd say Slash but he's awful wee.

I've always thought Mick Jagger oozed sex appeal, in that slightly repugnant way.
Certainly not handsome, but looks as if he's filthy in bed.
