I have just received the sale brochure and it's reduced to £79 (from £125).

Send it back and order a sale one

Flibbertinseljinglebells · 18/12/2007 15:50

If you've still got the receipt and its unworn and their policy is full refunds then go for it.
My mum did exactly the same with an outfit in M&S that was reduced 2 days after she bought it last year.

flowerytaleofNewYork · 18/12/2007 15:50

Do it, definitely.

ohcomeALYefaithful · 18/12/2007 15:50

I recently returned some items well beyond the 3 month return date, I got a full refund.

lazawreath · 18/12/2007 15:51

Well, you've got two days to do it, last post on 20th. Send it back, I would.

Swedes2Turnips1 · 18/12/2007 15:54

I have just realised I have a problem. I bought my sil a Boden velvet jacket and I put the returns receipt inside the parcel with her jacket (in case she wants to exchange for different size or something else) and my coat is on the same receipt/returns form.

have you got the parcel still?

pollyannainexcelsis · 18/12/2007 15:57

try just phoning up and saying this is what happened - I did this last year, and they gave me the reduction anyway. They are very understanding (I am one of their best customers though )

Swedes2Turnips1 · 18/12/2007 16:00

No, gave the parcel to my sil last sunday. I was convinced I was keeping my green coat.

Out of interest, does it look nice? I ordered a green one on Friday (at the reduced price ).

I'd send back and reorder.

PuppyDogTails · 18/12/2007 16:01

I've just done it with a coat I bought DSD for Christmas

MuffinMclay · 18/12/2007 16:02

Ah, read properly and see you can't easily send back. Definitely worth calling them and explaining.

lazawreath · 18/12/2007 16:02

I think you are better off ringing the company direct.

santaspregnantlittlehelper · 18/12/2007 16:04

i'd phone them and explain - besides if you've only just bought it and it's a christmas present for your sis then you can always get the returns form back before the 3 month deadline.

i'd also order a sale one to be on the safe side to get one!

EniDeepMidwinter · 18/12/2007 16:06

if you really love the coat, keep it and chalk it up

Swedes2Turnips1 · 18/12/2007 16:23

I phoned them. They were extremely helpful. I can keep the coat and they have credited my account by the difference between the sale price and the full price - as I am such a good customer - no posting no nonsense. Thank you all for suggesting it - I wouldn't have been brave enough!

I have a brand new unworn black one too. It's only my second order though so I'm not such a good customer.

doesntschristmasdrag - Call them. No harm in asking is there? The lady I spoke to was very helpful.
