Do you think being the other woman is acceptable in some circumstances?

Do you think becoming “the other woman” is understandable in certain circumstances?

My friend is currently doing this right now with another woman’s man and has done similar before. She also has a boyfriend of her own.
Basically, my friend thinks that when women have been horrible to her (unprovoked) being the other woman with their significant others as a form of revenge is understandable. I’m wondering if other people would think this is acceptable or at least understandable?

I didn’t know what to say when I first heard this. My other friend hearing this was like, “you better not get on the wrong side of X”. Lol.

This is why I tell people on here to not assume a woman is all nice and lovely just because she is a woman. It's like some people on here think women aren't capable of behaving like this. Of course they are. Some women are just sad, pathetic and feel so shit about themselves that they need to do this.

@WrongWayApricot

Does it really count as troll hunting? Is it not more like shooting trolls in a barrel?

I keep bursting out laughing thinking of this 😂😂😂

Who automatically thinks women are 'nice and lovely' because they have ovaries?

You've obviously never seen some of the replies on the relationships board. Sometimes they come out of the woodwork spouting nonsense about how only men do this kind of thing, women wouldn't be so cruel.

I hope they are just naive rather than stupid, but...

I think it’s always gross to be a cheater/date a cheater. In my opinion it’s like dating someone who has vomit all down themselves- in that I don’t know why you’d be proud of it and they really should sort it out before kissing new people!

But surely that's countered by the innumerable posts throughout Mn about high-drama all-female friend- or family- clusterfucks -- exclusions from WhatsApp groups and parties, wendying, not being a bridesmaid, ditching the fat and/or tattooed bridesmaid, the BF stealing the baby name, the SIL ignoring the pregnancy announcement, the MIL feeding the newborn chocolate buttons and refusing to hand it back to the mother etc etc?

You would think, wouldn't you? Grin

Like I say, dunno if it's them being naive or stupid.
