Hi all, so basically i am in a rut at the moment, i have lost altogether 65lb over 5 years and i am stuck at 160lb.
I am 5'9 and i am starting to obsess about how i look, my DH keeps saying the usual "you look fine babe" but i need some perspective.. what do we think? Fat or not? All i see is fat! Currently a 14 bottom 12 top and sick and tired of it

Fair play for having the bravery to post and to also seek expert advice of you cannot see what the rest of us do.

You have a great figure, classic hourglass and the envy of many. I genuinely cannot see any flaws and everything is proportionate. I wouldn't lie, I would just focus on the positives if that wasn't the case!

However, everyone else telling you isn't any good if you don't feel it or see it yourself. I'm a firm believer that confidence is far more important that size. The more comfortable you feel, the better you can carry any body shape or size.

I think you are right that you do have to address this if it's becoming an obsession and you aren't seeing for body as it is. Good luck with it.

I'm wondering if your problem is more about clothes fit, because depressingly few clothes, especially fashionable clothes are cut for a waist. Which will make you look less slim in clothes because the extra fabric gets in the way...

Skater type dresses were my go to when I had a good waist.
