guy at the front of the bus (on the top deck) puts on his stupid, tinny sounding loud rap music. guy further down the bus shouts to ask him to turn it off. guy number 1 doesn't. guy number 2 shouts again to ask guy number 1 to turn the music off. guy number 1 doesn't. guy number 2 gets up and reveals himself to be built like a brick shithouse, goes to guy number 1, has a 'quiet word' music goes off

It's sad that you have to be built like a brick shithouse to be effective! But yay, let's hear it for Mr Shithouse.
PS I'm definitely too intimidated too.

When I come back on the late bus from teaching my evening classes and sometimes having a drink with my students, it can be about 10pm.

Quite often there is a kid who looks about 10-11 at the back of the bus with some electronic device on which he plays computer games and blares out GOD-AWFUL neeyaaar-ahaa-jagga-jagga-boom-boom bhangra/ragga/rap/some-other-shit-like-that kind of "music", for the benefit of his fellow passengers.

(Quite apart from the sodding noise, what the hell is he doing out on his own at that time anyway? Time for curfews, I say...)
