I was putting mindees in the car today, (we have a car with a sliding door) I had put two in left the door open while I got the last child, a Parcel Force van was coming down the road as I went to get last child.

When I went to put the child in, there was a smouldering cigerette on the floor of my car!!!!

The Parcel Force guy was delivering next door, I went up to him and asked if he had chucked it out his van window.

'Not allowed to smoke in the van'

'well no other car has come passed'

'wasnt me, you should have shut your door'

with that he walked off!

I could see my car at all times, and NO other car had come down our road, ther was no other place it could have come from!

I was so angry if my third mindee had been inthe car it would have landed on her!

DEFINATELY report him.

I didnt get his van number, but do know where he delivered to and I asked neighbour and it was signed for, can they trace which driver it was?

That is the least of the wrong doing. He threw a cigarette inside your car, which had children in it, and it could have ignited fully. You NEED to report this in case it happens again with worse consequences.

Post office actually has a fairly organized system for complaints. Make sure you get a complaint number.

definately complain. our neighbour was having the kerb lowered to his property the other day. i put up with workmen, sat in their van, blocking my drive for their lunch break. after they'd left, i found 5 cigerette stubs just thrown onto my drive. i was REALLY annoyed, wish i'd complained

OK will get the phone number and complain in the morning (the irony is DH is doing a Christmas job, at night at the sorting office!) He has already said he will find out which depot the van was likely to have come from.

Tell your DH to keep out of it though.

they will know the driver from where he dropped!
please report him what if you hadnt of spotted it, or it had landed on one of your mindees

Have written a email, stating what time it was, who he delivered to, what address it was, and full detials of what happened. Now I just need to know where to send it to.

NAB he is only working ther for ten days, he is in the Army but has 6 weeks leave and if he was under my feet for that long, I would be done for murder

This Summer I was driving along with DD, stuck in traffic and a fag landed on my lap from the open window.

I had a bout of road rage and got out and threw it back in the womans window! She was actually really sorry. I suppose I am lucky she did not get out and smack me!

They have to learn to have some respect, I don't care if people Smoke in their cars - just don't throw your fag butt out at me

someone once dropped one on my foot as they went into a tube station. burned a hole in my tights and when i said 'oi' and complained to the bloke he started moaning at me. grrrrrr!

Ours is just really weird. He's unnaturally cheery and once made me sing a verse of Aretha Franklin through the intercom before he would hand over my parcel. .
