Deliveroo no refund

Ordered a Morrison’s shop from deliveroo, it said all items were available but when it came 2 was missing and crossed off the receipt I complained to deliveroo first time I’ve ever complained and was told I’m not entitled to a refund even though I was charged for the missing items! Has this happened to anyone else?

The email from Deliveroo reads to me as if you've requested a refund for the entire order, or have I got that incorrect? Sorry OP, it's just the wording "We are unable to offer a refund for this order". Maybe Deliveroo have got the wrong end of the stick and it's been miscommunicated at some point that you just want the missing items refunding, not the entirety of the order.

Ive had the same thing 5 items missing and charged for and they day they remind partners to check the orders
How can it be legal as if you contact the shop - co op in this case they say the contract is with deliveroo
I have emailed them advising I am going to trading standards they should not get away with thid
I have had no issue with uber eats refunds.

I literally had the same thing. I order quite a bit from them and they always miss something or give me something wrong. Deliveroo usually deals with it quick but yesterday they refused to replace or refund and only gave me an apology.
I am guessing you are entitled to get your things and not giving away to them without complaining?
it’s like stealing your money and it’s wrong.

Have had lots of issues with these delivery apps - from missing items to no delivery at all and often a battle to get a refund even with ring doorbell footage to prove what no delivery was attempted at the time they said. One of the reasons for Uber Eats initially refused a refund was that we had previously had a refund for non delivery. Just deliver our order then!! Always got refunded in the end but no longer use them, it really isn't worth the hassle.
