Can't really see what's wrong with them (but I don't have an 8 year old so may be missing something).

fairydust · 12/12/2007 10:06

we'll they'd fit my 5 yr old but theres no way in hell would i buy them for her utter tart boots

EniDeepMidwinter · 12/12/2007 10:06

well they are pikey but you see lots of it about

JingleBelgoHoHoHo · 12/12/2007 10:08

I assume you mean these? very high heels for a child

ComeOVenReadyturkey · 12/12/2007 10:09

Personally I think they are horrid, whatever age they are for.

Bouncingturtle · 12/12/2007 10:09

Well at least there not stillettos!
For occasional wear I guess they'd be ok, but the heel does seem to be a bit high.

I did see this girl, I reckon she was about 9-10, I kid you not she was dressed like a mini hooker. SERIOUSLY, gold ruched, 4" stilletto heeled boots, painted on jeans, boob tube with "D&G" and this gold coloured furry gilet (sp), HUGE hoop earings and a load of over the top chains with D&G pendants.
Had to look twice to check whe wasn't just a short woman! Yes I'm being very judgy but there is no way I would let my daughter out of the house dressed like that! Even on an adult the whole ensemble would be tacky and slapperish.

I wouldn't buy them for my 7 1/2 year old, too much of a heel.

Mincepiedermama · 12/12/2007 10:10

Yuk city. Horrible. I've seen kids in the playground trying to climb up the slide and being hampered by ridiculous heels.

Rabbitchat · 12/12/2007 10:12

I have a 9 year old step-daughter - she'd want them, but I wouldn't buy them for her....
I also have a 12 year old step daughter...would let her have them if they were her type of thing (but they're not).

Ubergeekian · 12/12/2007 11:13

Yuk.

Inappropriate clothes for children? I used to run residential holidays. I once had a 12 year old turn up in a T-shirt (her parents had sent her off wearing this) saying "Porn Star In Training". Another physically well advanced (ie busty) thirteen year old appeared in a T-shirt saying "Don't look at these if you can't afford to touch them."
