Who's "fault" is this?

Person A puts things in the sink, as dishwasher is on, at some point water from various sources (cooking, tumble drier, rinsing a bowl out) was put into sink and a mug was filled at some point with water from some source.

Person B needs to take paracetamol,and decides to drink the water in the mug in the sink.

Person B starts gagging and making wretching noises and asks Person A what is in the mug, and implies that Person A shouldn't have left that water in the mug.

Person A thinks that Person B shouldn't have drunk random sink water,and should have used the glasses and fresh tap water right next to the sink.

So, was Person A wrong to leave the random water in the mug. Or was Person B wrong to drink the random water and then blame person A for being "poisoned".

Person B (I guessing your DH) is a numbnuts.

StillWalking · 30/10/2021 12:13

You seriously have to ask!!!!!??? Person B, of course. Just who would do that?

HerRoyalWitchyness · 30/10/2021 12:14

Person B is an idiot.

Skiptheheartsandflowers · 30/10/2021 12:14

@OwlinaTree

Only a fool would drink from a mug of water left in the sink!!Envy
This. Don't even need to read any further.
ThePoisonousMushroom · 30/10/2021 12:14

Person B is wrong (and vile).

NoSquirrels · 30/10/2021 12:14

Does Person B have additional needs or challenges?

Because if not, quite clearly Person B must take responsibility for their own choice.

NailsNeedDoing · 30/10/2021 12:15

Person B is weird. Who in their right mind would pick up random sink water to drink and assume it’s clean when it’s in a cup that’s obviously been used?

NoSquirrels · 30/10/2021 12:15

@NewPapaGuinea

Person A was wrong for putting things in the sink. One my pet hates.
Despite this being an annoying habit, Person B is still in the wrong.
billy1966 · 30/10/2021 12:16

@HerRoyalWitchyness

Person B is an idiot.
A complete moron, and I wouldn't entertain such stupidity for a second.
Salayes · 30/10/2021 12:18

Haha who the fuck drinks random sink water when it takes less than 10 seconds to empty and cup and fill it with fresh? And then blames the other person for it? Are they completely helpless as a matter of course in life?

Bluntness100 · 30/10/2021 12:19

Who the hell would drink random water in a dirty glass in the sink, that’s so weird.

MuchTooTired · 30/10/2021 12:26

@HerRoyalWitchyness

Person B is an idiot.
This!

The two things aren't really connected are they?

Things in the sink doesn't mean that someone can't access a clean cup & fresh water.

Herecomesthesun70 · 30/10/2021 12:27

Eewwww🤮

knittingaddict · 30/10/2021 12:27

B is obviously at fault. I can't understand why they would do that. At the risk of sounding like a 5 year old, yuck.

Regularsizedrudy · 30/10/2021 12:28

Do you mean sauces?

GiltEdges · 30/10/2021 12:28

Let me guess, person B is your DH/DP? He's an idiot. And a lazy one at that.

Morgoth · 30/10/2021 12:28

Unless Person B is a cat, they’re an idiot. Who the hell drinks random sink water?!

MangoBiscuit · 30/10/2021 12:30

Even my cats would refuse to drink random sink water! Grin

PhilCornwall1 · 30/10/2021 12:31

Person B is a knob and sounds like they need more than paracetamol.

Person B is an idiot and they need to stop blaming Person A and take responsibility for their own actions.

BlackberrySky · 30/10/2021 12:35

Person B should perhaps learn from this - take responsibility for yourself and stop looking to blame other people for your own stupidity!

ImUninsultable · 30/10/2021 12:37

Person B is a fucking idiot.

00100001 · 30/10/2021 12:37

Yeah, Person B is DS17.

I'm guessing he had a moment of not thinking when he drank that water...

I was very helpful and did tell him to stop being so dramatic when he was looking up things like "is tumble dryer water poisonous" and he said "I might get really I'll though!" then I offered to take him to A&E so they could pump his stomach if he was that bothered ... He didn't take me up on that offerGrin
