Would you wear this out?

I purchased one of these recently - soooo comfortable and warm, I could live in it through the winter.
It's one of those oversized hoodie/blanket things - intended as a kind of dressing gown I think, but a grey and black squiggly pattern - not cutesie bunnies/unicorns etc.
This afternoon I nipped out to the supermarket in it (with leggings) I felt comfortable, and didn't feel as if everyone was staring at me & thinking who's the weirdo wandering round in pyjamas.
Would you wear it out?

Wear what you want.

Concestor · 25/10/2021 21:18

No. But I wouldn't wear it in the house either. I think it's hideous.

DroopyClematis · 25/10/2021 21:20

No I wouldn't but I strongly suspect that oodie type clothes will be all the rage outside , this year.

RedRec · 25/10/2021 21:22

Absolutely no way.

Toottooot · 25/10/2021 21:25

Did you wear your baffies alongside your goonie?

lililou · 25/10/2021 21:26

Nope

icedcoffees · 25/10/2021 21:29

No, I don't think I would.

I wear oversized sweaters and jumpers but not in that fabric or design. I hate fleece clothing though Blush

Justcallmebebes · 25/10/2021 21:29

Maybe a different colour/pattern but highly unlikely

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 25/10/2021 21:33

I’d wear it.

I rather like the pattern, it’s like contours.

But then I go to the shops in a dryrobe and wellies, and nothing underneath.

heywassuphello · 25/10/2021 22:13

God no

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 25/10/2021 22:14

Sorry it's a no from me.

GirlWithAGuitar · 25/10/2021 22:23

Just wear it. Only weirdos care what other people wear. It just looks like a hoodie anyway.

TSSDNCOP · 25/10/2021 22:24

I wouldn't wear that in, but definitely not out.

TallTrees78 · 25/10/2021 22:25

I guess it depends how big or voluminous it is. I don't think I would if it was like a tent on me, but equally I don't think most people would even notice.

Aubrey1981 · 25/10/2021 22:25

No

ChampionOfTheSun · 25/10/2021 22:28

The only time I've worn something like this "out" was in the car after I've been swimming but it's just in the car driving home, not outside. I wouldn't be bothered if I saw someone else wearing one though.

WTF475878237NC · 25/10/2021 22:29

I have something that is oversized and very warm that I only ever wear at home. I definitely wouldn't wear something like this garment out. Not to a drive through, supermarket etc. It looks like pyjamas to me.

OverByYer · 25/10/2021 22:30

No but I wouldn’t buy one either

3beesinmybonnet · 25/10/2021 22:35

@Toottooot

So what are baffies, please? I'm guessing bathroom slippers. Possibly tartan wool with a sheepskin lining Smile

MatildaJayne · 25/10/2021 22:37

Fuck no. But you do what you want, I’m sure I’ve seen worse.

LubaLuca · 25/10/2021 22:39

I wouldn't wear it, but I don't think I'd notice it on anyone else. It just looks like a massive hoodie - it has sleeves (I think, photo not that clear) so I wouldn't think it was a blanket/poncho thing.

jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey · 25/10/2021 22:42

No definitely not.

Suzi888 · 25/10/2021 22:42

@Soupseason

I can't see the problem. It looks like an oversized hoodie..
^ this. I’d wear it to walk the dog (personally) but wouldn’t take any notice of someone else wearing it.
Apocalyptichorsewoman · 25/10/2021 22:42

Yes! If you want to look like you are on the run from Hogwarts 😀

notsohippychick · 25/10/2021 22:43

Eeek sorry no.
