..I had an experiment last year and didn't send any because I just could not be arsed. And NO-ONE noticed, I swear. I even said to people "did you get our card?" And they all said yes, thanks etc. The way I see it, I'm saving the rain forest...

I hate sending, and can't bear receiving! How are you supposed to display them? Or do you not bother?

I love getting Christmas cards, although I'm not so keen on writing them!

But it's all part of Christmas for me - showing those that you don't see very often that you're thinking of them.

And it makes the room look festive and jolly.

So yes, YABU and you're all a load of Bah Humbugs!

Quickdraw - why don't you scan in your kids' artwork and email them as 'e-cards'? We just received one like that - very tasteful.

I didn't do cards last year, just donated to charity and sent a blanket email out. Don't see the point - they're just an environmental disaster, take too bloody long to write, and most importantly, I'm too disorganised to get the things done on time. More than once in the past I've posted the cards on 27th December

DH is threatening to renege on me this year and suggesting we send some to a 'select few' but I note he's not offering to write the cards...
